It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved family member Addi Stading, who was killed in a car crash on July 26, 2026, at the tender age of 19.

Addison grew up in Woodland, Washington where she was a vibrant member of the community, excelling in multiple sports and spreading kindness wherever she went. Addi was a sophomore at Linfield University where she was majoring in nursing.

Addi brought light, energy, and genuine warmth to every room she entered. From a young age, Addi possessed a kind heart, a quick smile and an ability to make others feel seen and valued. Friends and family will forever remember the laughter that followed her everywhere, the quiet moments of thoughtful support, her fiery determination in everything she participated in and her love of frogs.

Addison is survived by her loving parents Ralph and Allison, sister Riley, Grandparents Karen and Ralph Stading of Woodland, Leonard Girard and Pam Jacklin of Portland, Linda and John Hisatomi of Portland and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends and classmates who will carry Addi's memory in their hearts.

A candlelight vigil will take place on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Woodland High School's Beaver Stadium from 8-10pm. A celebration of Addison's life will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at 2pm at the Woodland High School Commons located at 1500 Dike Access Rd, Woodland, WA 98674. All students, staff, alumni and community members are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family invites acts of kindness in her name.

Though our time with Addison was far too short, the love, joy, and light she shared will remain with us always. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
