Obituary

ALICE (HORSCH) BENNETT
July 3, 1936 ˜ August 14, 2021

Alice passed away in her home Aug. 14, 2021 at the age of 85. Alice was born Aug. 31, 1936 in Holdingford, MN to Constant and Frances Horsch.

The family moved to Vancouver, WA in 1941 so our father could find work in the shipyards.

There is one surviving sister, Mary Sue Lusk; one niece, Susan Kochan; three nephews, Steven and Christopher Lusk and Lynn Horsch.

Alice graduated from Providence Academy in 1955 and became a Registered Nurse in 1960. Shen entered the convent to become a nurse's nun. After deciding not to take her final vows she went to work for The Providence Hospitals and St. Joseph's Hospital.

She later married Paul Bennett (for a short period of time without children.)

Alice owned and operated The Queen of Peace Book Store on Grand Blvd. in Vancouver, WA for 29 years.

Alice will be dearly missed by all that knew her. She is now in Heaven with her Lord and Savior.
