ANNA "BERNICE" (REED) MILLER
September 25, 1922 ˜ February 26, 2022

Anna "Bernice" (Reed) Miller, 99, of Vancouver, WA, passed away on Feb. 26, 2022, of natural causes. She was born Sept. 25, 1922, in White Salmon, WA. In her early adult years she moved with her parents to Vancouver where and she married Robert "Bob" Miller and lived the remainder of her life.

She worked in the Kaiser Shipyards during World War II in a secretarial position until her marriage to Bob. She then retired from the workforce to become a full time stay at home parent and homemaker. Bernice enjoyed reading and writing poetry and playing piano but most of all she loved spending time with her family and found great joy when all of them could gather together.

She is survived by daughters, Maureen "Mitzi" (Greg) Pothier, Mary Lou (Alan) Newman, Melinda "Linny" (David) Ottosen, Catherine (James) Smith; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, husband Bob, son Joseph, and daughter Roxanna Gustafson.

A funeral mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 4723 NW Franklin Street, Vancouver, WA, to be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. followed by graveside memorial at Mother Joseph Cemetery at 12:15 p.m.
