Arthur "Art" Eugene Noel, 87, of Vancouver, WA, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025, after a short illness.

Art was born on July 25, 1937, in Lowell, MA to Mildred and Arthur Noel, Sr. After working in his dad's Texaco service station, he went on to become a respiratory therapist. He worked for Kaiser (both Bess Kaiser and Sunnyside) for 37 years.

In his free time, Art loved everything about cars, whether it was working on his own cars, reading about cars, or going to car shows. He was also an avid runner and bike rider in his younger days, running the Portland Marathon several times, as well as participating in the Hood-to-Coast Run. Art loved to travel by car. He made multiple cross-country trips, usually including a stop back in Bridgewater, MA for his high school reunions. He enjoyed shooting hoops, spending time in the yard, reading, going for walks, and most importantly attending his daughter's sporting events and son's music events.

Art was known for being a kind and helpful neighbor. He always had a smile and a wave for anyone he knew walking or driving by. He would offer advice on cars or drive someone to their doctor's appointments. He had a very witty sense of humor that made everyone love him.

Art is survived by his two children, Paul Noel (Christina) and Michelle Liebert (Leo). He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife (Joan 2014).
