BETTY ANN TERRY

April 30, 1925 ~ June 22, 2022

On June 22, 2022, Betty Ann Terry peacefully passed away in her sleep. She was 97 years old.

As a lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, Betty had many friends from near and far. She was the mother of four children and grandmother to several more. She was so proud of her large family. She also loved her Catholic Church family; her faith was the cornerstone in her life.

Betty worked for 32 years in the University of Portland bookstore before she retired in 1994, much to the chagrin of her numerous campus friends.

Betty had been blessed to travel extensively, and to see the migration of her beloved polar bears numerous times in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Betsy Lindstrom. Betty is survived by three sons, 13 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

The service will be this Thursday, June 30, at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Proto-Cathedral on 218 West 12th St. in Vancouver, WA.
