Carole June Axford 83 Passed away on August 18, 2024, at PeaceHealth Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington.

Born in Vancouver Washington. She was the daughter of Melvin Henry Axford and Effie Louise Duback. She graduated from Hudson Bay High School on June 6, 1959. She was employed at the Clark County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and worked as a legal secretary for fifty years.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Carole enjoyed traveling to Lake Tahoe, spending time with her family, lunches with her coworkers / friends and shopping.

Carole will be remembered as a kind, loving, caring, funny, and selfless person who would always put others above herself. She was playfully known as "Crazy Horse". A nickname her brother gave her years ago.

Carole is survived by her brother Dennis Axford, Niece Yvette Jacobson (husband Eric Jacobson), and great nephew Michael Jacobson. She is also survived by her beautiful friends/coworkers of fifty years and wonderful neighbors. She was predeceased by her Grandfather Ernest Axford, Grandmother Alta Axford, Father Melvin Axford and Mother Effie Axford.

Carole's graveside service will be held on September 13, 2024, at 2pm at Park Hill Cemetery 5915 E. Mill Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98661.

Because of her deep love of dogs. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Humane Society for Southwest Washington 1100 NE 192nd Ave, Vancouver, WA 98684.
