Obituary

Cheryle Lounsbury, age 77, passed away March 8th, 2025, with her husband, son, and daughter-in-law by her side after an extended illness.

Cheryle was born and raised in Vancouver, WA and graduated from Providence Academy.

She always enjoyed a good adventure. If you were on a road trip with her, there was no going straight to the destination. She would find little oddball stops and sights to see along the way. Or, on occasion the adventure was getting lost and finding your way back again. She had a knack for making mundane things fun like passing time on a car trip or just waiting in line.

Most importantly she always put other people first. She was the first to be there to take care of someone. Whether it was something simple, or being there to support you through a crisis, you could always count on her, not just at the start but through the end. Even if it meant that she would have been inconvenienced herself, it didn't stop her from being there.

She was an avid reader, enjoyed baking, and absolutely loved the Christmas season. It was in her DNA to give, and the silly pajamas that she gifted were always the best. She loved decorating, Christmas lights, and watching Christmas movies (even if it was the same one year after year).

The love and joy that Cheryle brought to this world and her family will be deeply missed now that she is gone.

Cheryle was preceded by her parents Charles & Lonita Lingo. She is survived by her husband Randy, son Ryan, brother Steven, and sister Paula.

There will be a graveside funeral on Thursday March 27th, 2025, at 1pm near the 29th street entrance of Mother Joesph Catholic Cemetery.
