DARREN ADDISON DEPUTY
November 9, 1966 ˜ December 30, 2021

Darren died peacefully on Dec. 30, 2021, at Legacy Hospital in Vancouver, WA, at the age of 55 after battling an illness for 3 months. He was born to John and Marge Deputy on Nov. 9, 1966, in Seattle, WA. In 1973; at the age of 6, he moved with his family to Vancouver, WA.

He grew up attending school in the Battle Ground school district and graduated from Prairie High School in 1985. After graduation he remained in the Vancouver community and used his talent for building to establish his own construction company, which he operated for over 30 years.

He was a loving son, brother, father, and uncle. He was deeply and lovingly devoted to his three sons Zachary, Brandon, and Cody. He spent many years coaching them in sports, being involved with them raising pigs in the 4H program and enjoyed hunting with them. He was also actively involved with the 4H JLA (Junior Livestock Auction) and YEAH (Youth Efforts Against Hunger) programs.

He had a passion for music and was an active member of the local band community, playing drums in various bands and jamming with friends. Most recently, with friends Robert and Joe, had formed the band Walking Stick and released their first album on Spotify earlier this past year.

He is survived by his mother, Marge; his sister, Laurie; his sons, Zachary (Kirstie), Brandon (Sydney), and Cody (Gina); his niece, Rebekah (Ben); his nephew, William; and many other relatives and close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John.

Darren will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of his life will be scheduled for a future date in the Spring of 2022.
