Donna Mae Mattes

March 31, 1940 ~ September 2, 2022

Donna, 82, was born in Dickinson, ND. She was proud to be a home maker and mother and later grandma and then great grandma. She loved sewing, having made her own wedding gown as her mama guided her. She went on to sew beautiful clothing for her girls and grandkids and amazing Pendleton wool shirts for Don.

Donna had a heart for God and her faith. A humble servant, always having a smile and love for anyone she met. She never met a stranger, and shined God's love and light everywhere she went and in everything she did.

Donna joined her parents and her other 14 siblings in heaven on September 2, 2022.

Donna is survived by her loving husband, of 64 years; Donald (Donny), daughters & son-in-laws; Laura and Stan White, Joann and Bill Willyerd, Kathleen and Lee DeStael and Maria and John Weis. Donna is also survived by nine beautiful grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She was a lover of cats and hummingbirds. Master seamstress and quilter.

She will be missed.
