Doug Marsh died suddenly at his home in Longview, WA, of a heart attack on Oct. 2, 2023. He is survived by his father, Daniel G. Marsh; and his brothers, Damon J. Marsh and Dixon J. Marsh. He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Steel.

Doug attended St. Joseph Grade School and Fort Vancouver High School in Vancouver, WA, and graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA.

Doug was a self-employed used clothing entrepreneur. He served as a page at the Washington State Legislature as a teenager and was also a Boy Scout. He enjoyed watching college sports, especially the University of Washington Huskies.

His funeral service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vancouver at 11 a.m., Nov. 9, 2023, with a reception held in the church hall.
