Gene Ronald Price, 92, passed away at his daughter's home in Brush Prairie, WA, March 29, 2022, due to complications of Alzheimer's disease and Prostate cancer.
Gene was born April 10, 1929, in Green Forest, AK, to Jane Victoria and William Harold Price. He graduated from High School in International Falls in 1947. He served in the US Army/Air Force at San Marcus AFB in Texas from 1950 to 1954. It was here that Gene took up his love for flying.
On Jan. 24, 1953, he married Edith Patricia Price. Patricia passed away in 1997.
Gene is survived by his seven of his eight children and their spouses, Timothy and Rebecca Price, Teresa Musa, Ginger Enbusk and Charles Hawthorne, Bill Price (deceased), Jane Larson, Katherine Price and Tracy Johnson, Stephanie and Phil Stewart, and Joseph and Tonya Price. Gene had 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
Gene and Tric had many life adventures. Gene started out with a 60 head dairy farm in Bemidji, MN. Years later Gene took up Gentri's Riding Ranch in Brooklyn Park, MN. In 1972, Gene and the family made their way to Vancouver, WA when he decided he was never going to shovel snow again.
Gene will be especially remembered for his quick wit, spirit of adventure, and the tenaciousness that allowed him to make many friends.
A service is planned for 11 A.M. April 23, at St. John's Catholic Church, 8701 NE 119st St, in Vancouver, WA. Private burial will take place at St. John's Catholic cemetery.

The family is grateful to the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Vancouver, WA and the staff and volunteers at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center's Hospice for their fantastic help and support.
