Georgianne Elizabeth Duback, a devoted wife, sister, mother and grandmother, took her last breath on February 24, 2025, in La Center, Wash. She was born on March 8, 1951, in Portland, to Peter and Mnostoula Kanelis who preceded her in death.

She attended Jefferson High School in Portland. Georgianne retired from United Harvest where she was a superintendent. She loved music and dancing, cooking and spending time in her gardens.

Georgianne married the love of her life, Gary, on June 23, 2005. Together, they spent countless hours traveling by motorhome. Usually to her favorite place, under the sun in Arizona. They shared a love for their dog, Annie. Being a Yiayia to her seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren was one of her greatest blessings.

Georgianne is survived by her husband, Gary Duback; sister Elizabeth and her husband, David Barkelew, of Santa Cruz, Calif.; brother John Kanelis, of Princeton, Texas; her daughters Stephanie of Vancouver and Tami of Vancouver; her aunt Sophie Runyard of Portland, Oregon; grandchildren Alicia Eback, of Seattle, Wash; Mackenzie Mazingo, of Molalla, Oregon; Michael Wilson, of Molalla, Oregon; Ashlee Eback, Aaron Thorsen, Chase Todd, Taryn Todd all of Vancouver, Wash; two nephews, Peter Kanelis of Princeton, Texas and Nathan Kanelis of Allen, Texas, one niece, Andrea Nance of Santa Cruz, Calif., and several great-nieces and nephews and great-grandchildren.
