Gerald J. Foley (Jerry) passed peacefully at 93. He was a beacon of love, joy and laughter. His legacy will forever shine in our hearts.

Sherry was the love of his life. He was a loving Dad to his daughters and Pop-Pop to eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and extended family.

Jerry and his twin, Francis, were born in Tarrytown, NY. After graduation, Jerry enlisted in the Navy and served overseas during the Korean War. Jerry graduated top of his class from General Motors Institute and was a member of the Gilgal Fraternity. A true salesman, he met Sherry while trying to sell her a car. They married six months later. They moved to Vancouver to raise their family. Jerry worked at Foley Chevrolet and later became a successful Real Estate Broker.

Jerry was active in the Jaycee's, Happy Hoppers Square Dance Club, Clark County Association of Realtors, and Rotary Club, receiving the Paul Harris Award. Upon retirement, they moved to Mesa, AZ.

Jerry is survived by wife, Sherry; daughters, Ann (Ray), Lisa, JoEllen (Bob) and Kristi (Mike) and families. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.

A Rosary (12:30 p.m.) and Mass (1 p.m.) celebrating his life will occur on Saturday, Oct. 28, at St. James in Vancouver. Feel free to wear a bit o' the green.
