Janice Snyder, 80, passed away peacefully on May 3rd, 2026.  She was born on January 7, 1946, in Portland Oregon.

Jan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who cherished her family deeply.  She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she shared with those around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Snyder, her son, Jamie Calcagno, her mother, Lucille Pyne, her brother, Jim Pyne, and her sister, Jean Stevenson.

Jan is survived by her stepson, Steve Snyer, her stepdaughters, Janet Reese, Cindy Wilson and Pam Beauchamp, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her greatly.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Saint Josephs Catholic Church, 400 Andersen Road, Vancouver, WA.  The rosary will begin at 10:00 am, followed by Mass at 11:00 am.

Burial will take place on May 20, 2026 at Douglass Cemetery in Troutdale Oregon.

Jan's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
