JANICE CAROL (ONSLOW) UHACZ

December 20, 1940 ~ September 30, 2022

Janice Carol (Onslow) Uhacz passed away at the age of 81 in Phoenix, AZ, on Sept. 30, 2022.

Janice was born to Harold and Jeanne Onslow in Portland, OR. She grew up with sisters, Sharon Denny, Linda Hauser, and brother, Dennis Onslow in Vancouver, WA, where she enjoyed riding horses and family excursions to Amboy and Cannon Beach. She attended Providence Academy. While working in her father's restaurant, Onslow's, she met the love of her life, Gerald Uhacz.

Janice and Gary were married on May 16, 1964. They moved from Vancouver to Camas in 1972, where they raised five children. She worked alongside Gary running Uhacz Dairy Distributing. Janice loved painting, her dog Shiloh, gardening and sewing, but her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Kelly (Sara) Uhacz of Vancouver, WA, Wendy Uhacz of Phoenix, AZ, Krislynn (Willie) Sandry of Camas, WA, and Kit (Lisa) Uhacz of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Caden Sandry and Ryder Sandry; siblings, Sharon Denny, Linda Hauser, and Dennis Onslow.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Gerald Uhacz (2010); and daughter, Karen (Uhacz) Jones (2010).

Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 7, 2022 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 324 NE Oak Street, Camas, WA with a Rosary at 12:30 p.m. and service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
