On Thursday, October 23, 2025, Jarrod Darryl Gibbons passed away. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Ashley; his cherished children, Olivia and Lillian; his devoted parents, Carl and Joanne; his brothers, Elliott (and his wife) and Brandon(and his wife) as well as his grandparents, many aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousin's, Ashley's family (Jarrod's in-laws), soccer teammates, and dear friends.

Jarrod is preceded in death by his grandmother, Henrietta Dyke, and grandfather, Mike Calderon.

Jarrod grew up in Vancouver, where he continued to live and raise his family. A proud Vancouverite, he found joy in the natural beauty of the outdoors—whether playing soccer, golfing with friends, cheering on his daughters at basketball and soccer games, or simply spending quality time with his loved ones. He was an enthusiastic supporter of the Seahawks, Timbers, and Trail Blazers.

He had a generous heart and unwavering loyalty to those he loved. Jarrod's greatest pride and joy were his daughters, Olivia and Lillian, who brought endless happiness and purpose to his life.

To his family and friends, Jarrod was more than a husband, father, son, and brother — he was a source of strength and kindness. His memory will live on in the many lives he touched and the love he shared so freely.

A celebration of Jarrod's life will be held at a later date in Vancouver, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory.
