JoAnne (Sears) Pedersen, 87 passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025 in Vancouver WA surrounded by her loving family. JoAnne was born in El-Centro CA April 20, 1937.  Shortly after her birth the family headed north and eventually settled in Ariel and Woodland WA area where she spent her formative years.

In 1955, JoAnne met the love of her life Ron and married him on September 23, 1955.  They were together for 69 years, eventually settling in Vancouver to raise their 5 children.  JoAnne was a stay-at-home mother until her youngest went to school.  She then went to work for the Vancouver School District at Eisenhower Elementary as a staff assistant and secretary.  In 1988, she decided to join her daughters at Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oregon as an accountant ending her career there as a trainer.  She retired in 2002 to spend time with her family and enjoy her life.  JoAnne loved to read and enjoyed gambling at the local casinos as well as afternoon tea with her daughters.  Her and Ron enjoyed watching baseball together especially the Mariners.  JoAnne's pride and joy was her family, and she was always there for them for anything.

JoAnne is survived by her loving husband Ron, her 5 children Mike, Julie Aguirre (Isy), Kelley Campbell, Patty Kellum (Les), Chris (Betsy), her 10 grandchildren Michael Holt, Brittany Holt, Zackary Aguirre, Madison Kellum, Moriah Raasch, Wyatt Aguirre, Kayla Aguirre, Jake Pedersen, Josh Pedersen, Jason Campbell and 2 great grandchildren Elias Aguirre and Lorenzo Aguirre.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday March 25, 2025, at 1:00pm at Messiah Lutheran Church 905 NW 94th St Vancouver WA 98665. Graveside services will follow the funeral at Frank Abel Cemetery 3819 Lewis River Rd Woodland WA 98674.
