Jodi Lynn
Swofford
Feb 2, 1963 — Feb 13, 2025
Vancouver
Jodi Lynn Swofford, 62 passed away February 13, 2025. Jodi was born February 2, 1963 to Patricia June Jett-Gregory and William Charles Gregory in Knoxville, Tennessee. Jodi spent a portion of her childhood in Tennessee but relocated to Oregon with her family when she was 5, then eventually to Washington. Jodi attended Kalama School District the majority of time she was in Washington. She also took some classes at the local college to become an optometrist assistant and later on a mental health facilitator. Jodi was known for her wild hair and unforgettable personality. She had a fire about her that made a lasting impression. She was a wonderful cook and baker. Her favorite moments included packing a bag and getting out of town. It didn't matter the extent of the adventure…she was down for anything! She was an avid forager, from spruce tips to mushrooms and everything in between…she made art out of Earth's gifts. She enjoyed rock hunting, beach combing, and any time on the river. She loved her kids and grandkids very much and took every opportunity to be a part of their life including many trips to Alaska and recently Montana.
Jodi joins her daughter (Ashlee England), her brother (Jeffery Waters), her father (Lester Waters), her grandparents, numerous friends and furry loves in the heavens above. Jodi leaves behind her daughter (Brandy/Jud Billing), her son (Randy England), her mother (Patricia/Glen Page), her sisters Bonita Waters, Leslye Cervantes, her brother Ashley Waters, grandsons Cole Belanger, Ryder and Rowan England, Noah Millikan, Jett Billing, and her girl Sailor Billing. She also leaves behind her boxer love Licky Licks…and a couple feral kitties.
A celebration of life will be held at Shekinah Christian Center located at 1015 3rd Ave. in Longview, Washington on March 1, 2025 from 2-7. Please join us for some good food and a night filled with sharing memories and spending quality time together in her honor.
