Joseph E. Sheldon, 94, passed away in Vancouver, Washington on Friday, March 22, 2024.  He fought a battle with dementia for many years.

Joseph was born in Grand Rapids, Minnesota to Hiram Piper Sheldon and Lillie Eliza Wittstruck. He served in the Korean War and was stationed in Seoul Korea.

Joe is survived by Judith Elnora Drinkall Sheldon, loving wife of twelve years.

His surviving children are:

Gloria and Jeffery Schmidt of Round Rock, Texas,

Beverly and Steve Mills of Edmond, Oklahoma,

Kathleen and Randal Ryon of Fort Worth, Texas,

Richard Allen Sheldon of St. Paul, Minnesota.

His surviving stepchildren are:

Dean and Carol Halleck of Fort Worth, Texas,

Alan and Jennifer Halleck of Vancouver, Washington,

Danette Moore of Vancouver, Washington.

He had many nephews, nieces and all their spouses.

Joseph is preceded in death by his late wife, Dorothy Sheldon and daughter, Kristen Phillips.

Service for Joseph Sheldon and his wife, Judy Sheldon will be:
