Joseph Valenzuela-Jenkins passed away July 30, 2022, in Vancouver, WA. He was born Oct. 24, 2005 to Joseph Jenkins and Misty Sperling.
He enjoyed being with his family, snowboarding, fishing, paint balling, playing practical jokes, tough trucks, four wheeling, plumbing with his dad, and working on cars.
Joey was a light for his entire family and had so many friends and people who loved him. He was a fun-loving, goofy jokester with a smile that lit up the room. His smile will keep us alive.
He is survived by his father, Joseph (Suzi); mother, Misty (Josh); siblings, Aaron (Morgan), Lacey (Esteban), Alyssa, and Koa; step-siblings, Meliah, Jake, Jessica; step-nephew, Noah; nana, Valerie Valenzuela; aunts and uncles, Crystal (Manny), Lindsey, Stacy (Dee), Bradley (Chancie), Jerry (Chris), Alisa (Mike), Suzanne; cousins, Kaitlin, Brendan (Angelica), Madison, Jayden, Sophie Grace, Jerry, Christine, Stephanie, Christopher, Matt, Geena; his very best friends, Derek and Bo the puppy. In addition, Joey has a large extended family.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Janet Gaul; aunt, Terralynn Smith; grandfather, Larry Valenzuela; and great-grandfather, Joseph Brown.
Joey's funeral service will be held at Summit View Church Heritage Park Campus, Aug. 13, 2022, at 11 a.m.
