Judith Anne Baty

October 20, 1941 – August 29, 2024

Judy, age 82, passed away August 29th, 2024, at home in Battle Ground Washington. She was born in Medford Oregon and her family moved to Vancouver in as a young child. She was a graduate of Providence Academy.

She was employed in the telephone industry for 31 years. Her career started at Pacific NW Bell as an operator, then a teller, sales representative and office supervisor. She received many awards for her outstanding performance. After divestiture, she worked at AT&T until retirement.

Judy was a devout Catholic and a member of St John the Evangelist Church for 50 years. She will be remembered for her smile, gentle nature and compassion for others.

She loved the ocean and Oregon coast and always wanted to go barefoot in the surf.

Judy is survived by Richard, her loving husband of over 62 years, their daughter Deana Anderson, four grandchildren (Jordan Obermiller, Christian Anderson, Sophia and Miabella Barnes), five great grandchildren (JJ, Braxton, Hudson, Jackson and Wyatt Obermiller) and her two sisters, Joyce Fears, her adult children (Chris Kellum, Linda Kellum and Teresa, Beth Tupper and her adult children (Dan Tupper, Chuck Tupper and Mindy Rothenberger.
