Linda Louise (Brown) Bakshas was born on January 26, 1944, in Vancouver, WA, and passed away peacefully at home on February 1 surrounded by loved ones. Linda was a devoted mother, a loving wife, and a cherished friend. She was a force of nature—smart, witty, and always ready with a pun or a clever remark. Her humor and warmth brought happiness to those around her, and her love for her family was unwavering. She shared 60 beautiful years with her beloved husband, Jerry, before his passing in 2019. Though she missed him dearly, she found strength and comfort in the love of her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Shelley Bakshas-Walker (Bryan) and Kristen Wallway (David), as well as her dear cousin and lifelong sister at heart, Carole Chavoya, and her favorite brother-in-law, Ron. Linda's presence will be deeply missed, but her artistic talent, creativity, spirit, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 13th at 1pm at Bethel Church in Ridgefield, the land for which was donated by Linda's family. 2306 NW Carty Rd, Ridgefield WA 98642.
