Marilyn Dee Williams, beloved mother to one child and grandmother to three grandchildren, 83, of Vancouver, WA passed away from a brief illness on March14, 2025, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

She was born in Billings, Montana in 1942 to Malcolm and Gladys Shearer and moved to Vancouver, WA in her early years.

Marilyn was a devoted mother to her son, Russell Williams, her pride and joy. She always said Russell was her whole world until her grandchildren came along.

Marilyn took special joy in watching her grandkids sporting events and had fond memories of hosting Christmas Eve every year. She loved decorating her home for the holidays. She loved her yard and doing yard work and would frequently call her grandkids to tell them of the squirrels and frogs she had around her pond. She enjoyed watching her daily soap opera up until the final days. She was active in her neighborhood association for decades and enjoyed the monthly pinochle parties she attended before her health declined.

Marilyn is survived by her son Russell Williams, his wife Rebekah Williams and her three grandchildren, Trey Williams (18), Ella Williams (16) and Tavis Williams (13) who will never forget the love she brought to their lives. She will be missed greatly.

Graveside service to be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 1pm at the Park Hill Cemetery. All are welcome.
