Obituary

Marion Anna (Clark) Wood was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Harry Luther and Vera Berniece Musser.

She celebrated her 100th birthday on October 25th with family and friends. Marion passed away peacefully on January 18th at the Ray Hickey House with family by her side.

Marion was preceded in death by her oldest son, Donald Raymond Clark (a twin), her parents and three siblings. She is survived by daughters, Rae Ann Roe (the other twin), and Doreen M. Brester (David), and sons, Jimmy H Clark and Steven J. Clark, 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

After living in Oakland CA. for many years, she married Wynn E. Wood. They traveled some before moving to Vancouver, WA, in the early 1970s.

She worked as a waitress at Jade Palace for a few years.

Her favorite pastime was creating a beautiful backyard work of art with beautiful flowers, plants of all kinds and a fishpond. (That, at times, the raccoons enjoyed.) She loved crocheting and made many lap blankets for the homeless. She also enjoyed morning coffee and talks with her neighbor. She loved reading, mysteries and cat mysteries mostly. She loved gardening and word find books, especially books on all the different birds that visited her back yard. She would light up whenever family would come to visit. She loved all of her visits from family, it meant so much to her. She also loved her cat, Lil' Kitty, and all of the cats over the years.

She is missed very much!

There will be a small gathering. For information, call one of the family.
