Marissa Nichole "Rissa" Wallin

November 15, 1981 - November 9, 2021

Marissa "Rissa" Nichole Wallin dies peacefully on 9 November 2021 in Ukiah, California in the presence of her husband Josh Wallin, her mother Della Quidachay, and her best friend Kami May after a sudden, rare bacterial infection.

Rissa was born in Vancouver, Washington on 15 November 1981 to Delia Quidachay and Charles Gay. Rissa attended Mountain View High School and found her true passion styling hair and making friends doing it. She obtained her Cosmetology License and became a successful small business owner. Rissa is survived by her husband Josh Wallin, her son Jacob Frazier, her daughter LaiLani Wallin, her mother Della Quidachay, her grandfather, Manuel "Q" Quidachay, her god-mother Mary Quidachay, her Uncle Vince and Aunt Karen Quidachay, her four close cousins, Chelsea and Kendi Quidachay, Angie Quidachay-Ham and Leah Quidachay, her mother-in-law Katie Wallin, her brother-in-law Guy Wallin, and many, many close friends.

Rissa was known as "The Party." Rissa's friends understood that the party did not happen unless she planned it, didn't start until she got there, and definitely didn't end until she said it did. Her family knew that if you needed somebody to support you or have your back, then you better get Rissa. Her kids and husband knew that she was the best mom and wife anybody could have ever hoped for. Parties and family gatherings will never be the same.

Due to COVID precautions, we will be minimizing attendance at the viewing, however, the graveside service will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens at 1101 NE 112th Avenue at 10 am on Wednesday, November 24th. A small Celebration of Life will be held, at the usual place, following the graveside service.
