Obituary

Mary M. (Lee) Daller lived from 9/17/1938 to 1/29/2025.  She was born to Harold James Lee and Isabelle (Madden) Lee in North Hollywood, CA and passed away in Normandy Park, WA from complications of Parkinson's disease.  Mary was a life-long caregiver…first with her mother Isabelle's extended illness.  Mary and John Daller married in 1959 and together they managed John's diabetes for an incredible 56 years until his death in 2015.  They traveled widely across the USA and around the world including Hawaii, Fiji, Australia and Europe.

Mary and John were members of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish since the late '60's and were long-time volunteers with St. Vincent de Paul.

Mary is survived by her sister Linda Prydz and brother Jim Lee, children MaryLee Daller, John (Jack) (Sandi) Daller III and Peggie (David) Griffith, as well as grandchildren Emily, Kelli, Brian and Danny.

Mary was a life-long reader who shared a love of books by working as the librarian at Our Lady of Lourdes School for over thirty years.  She read non-fiction, romance and the local paper each day.  Each year Mary grew an impressive vegetable garden and defended her crops from rabbits and squirrels.  She sewed and crocheted, making lots of clothes for babies.

Mary managed food allergies for most of her life.  Somehow, she cooked great food without being able to eat, or even taste, some of dishes she made.

Mary is remembered with love and respect by her friends and family.  Funeral Service at 11:00 am, Friday February 28th at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Mary asked that contributions in her name be made to St. Vincent de Paul.
