Elaine Kanooth passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Adams, Nebraska.

Elaine was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Duane Kanooth, her parents, Wanda Wason and Donald Fuller; brothers, Arlan Fuller, Richey Wason; sister, Nancy Wason; and son-in-law, Danny Vallelunga.

Elaine is survived by her daughters, Sherry Vallelunga and Pamela Tucker (Robert); and her son, Greg Kanooth; brothers, Roger Fuller and Steve Wason.

Elaine was a devoted grandmother to four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and she was cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Elaine was deeply loyal, a devout Catholic and an active member of her church, St Joseph's since 1986. She was a homemaker and a caretaker for Duane.

She and Duane volunteered at their church and the Queen of Peace Catholic Book Store.

She enjoyed gardening, traveling with Duane and spending time with family and friends. Elaine was loved by all who met her and will be greatly missed.

Her Funeral will be Thursday, January 22, 2026. The Rosary will be at 10:15 a.m., service at 11 a.m., followed by luncheon at noon. St Joseph Catholic Church, 400 S Andresen Road, Vancouver, WA 98661.
