Patricia Jean Frank

April 11, 1944 ~ August 23, 2022

Patty- Patricia J. Frank, 78, passed away on August 23, 2022, at Salmon Creek Legacy Hospital in Vancouver WA.

She was born on April 11, 1944, in Beaverton Oregon, the daughter of Aloha J Cary and Charles Clark. Jim Jernigan was her only sibling.

Patty graduated from Saint Mary's Academy in 1961. Following her graduation, she married William R Cotter and was blessed with 4 beautiful children, Terrie, Shelly, William and their youngest Nancy.

In addition to her children, she had 4 grandchildren, Mitchal, Richard, Willie and Tyler. She also had 4 great grandchildren Ariana, Kirian, Atlas and Aries.

In 1976, she became the first women police officer in Lake Oswego, Oregon.

She enjoyed her family and flying. She took several flight classes and due to her poor eyesight, she was unable to receive her private pilot's license.

A service of remembrance will be held 11:00 am, Friday, September 9th at:

Mother Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, 1401 East 29th St., Vancouver, Washington 98663.
