Romeo Albert Brien

January 14, 1929 ~ February 13, 2023

Romeo Brien, age 94, from Lawrence, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2023, in Vancouver, Washington.

Romeo was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts to Romeo and Yvonne Brien on January 14, 1929.  He went to school at Boston College graduating in Federal Aviation Mechanics and worked as a civilian in the United States Department of the Air Force at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft and McDonnell Douglas Aircraft.  On September 1, 1986 he was awarded a Certificate of Service in recognition of thirty years of faithful service.

Romeo is preceded in death by his wife of 69 years Margaret "Peggy" Scanlon Brien.  Romeo is survived by his son Michael Brien, daughter in law Gaylynn Brien, and four grandchildren, Jennifer Williams, Kimberly Brien, Rebecca Brien, David Brien, and four great grandchildren Abigail Williams, Kennedy Lopez, Lucas Williams, and Brendan Lopez.  He is also survived by his niece Rhonda Vaudreuil.

The family of Romeo wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the caring doctors and nurses at Peace Health Southwest Medical Center.

A funeral mass will be held on March 22nd at 11:00 AM at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Vancouver, WA.  Reception celebrating his life to follow in the Church Reception Hall.
