RONALD LEROY HART
April 27, 1954 - November 28,
2021

Ronald (Ron) LeRoy Hart died at home after a long battle with cancer. He described himself as a "strong man" and told his family not to worry about him, even as death closed in. Ron could be a handful, his emotions always quick and upfront, but his big heart was made of gold and he always came back to that.

Ron was born in Vancouver, WA, the second child of Ellen Collins Hart (Mitchell) and LeRoy Hart. After they divorced, LeRoy married "Mom Nancy", as Ron lovingly called her. As a child he was hell on wheels. He had only one speed... FAST! He loved to ride his bike everywhere, doing wheelies, racing down hills and up and over ramps; often crashing but always getting up.

He attended the Vancouver School for the Deaf and was a well loved member of the deaf community. Ron loved to travel in his truck. He also had a passion for four wheeling and was hoping to go one more time, but time ran out.

Ron was a generous and compassionate man, and will be greatly missed by both family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Mark Hart; daughter, Robin Opal Storm; three grandsons; sisters, Debra, Patricia, Amy, Kate; and his dear brother, Joseph, who has been his primary care taker and best friend all through his illness. Ron was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen; father, LeRoy; "Mom Nancy"; and younger brother, Mark.

Every conversation with Ron started and ended with "I love yous". The love flowed freely from his heart to ours and back again. He was all about love. We will miss you Ron, always.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 7, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Vancouver, WA.
