SHAUN MICHAEL RIGNEY

Shaun Michael Rigney was a loving partner, son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend. He left this world suddenly on Oct. 5, 2022 at the age of 40.

Shaun was born at Madigan Army Hospital in Fort Lewis, WA, on Aug. 6, 1982, to Dan and Arlene Rigney.

Shaun was a very talented man who enjoyed drawing, creating short stories and coming up with jingles off the cuff. He enjoyed spending time with family and his pets, as well as connecting with his faith in Jesus. He enjoyed traveling to historical sites and learning and reading about any subject available as well as collecting sci-fi and horror memorabilia. He could recite any song or movie quote and loved making people laugh and feel loved. Shaun's quick wit, comedic gestures and charismatic charm were unlike any other. Shaun had a love of sour candy, Mountain Dew, Bruce Willis and Michael Keaton movies, he made amazing fish tacos and corn beef cabbage.

His gentle soul, kind heart, infectious laughter and snarky banter will be deeply missed by all who had the honor and privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his life partner, Helena; son, Jackson; mother, Arlene; father, Dan; brother, Ken; sister-in-law, Cristin; nephews, Alex and Hunter; grandmother, Jean; Uncle Joe; and loving pets, Holly, JJ, Kittykins, Herman, Stitches, Pricilla and Cloud.
