STEPHEN ALLEN "STEVE" GARRETT

Stephen Allen "Steve" Garrett, 65, passed away at his home in Vancouver, WA, June 13. Steve is survived by his wife, Patricia; and his son, Matthew.
Steve was born in Culver City, CA, to Gale Thomas Garrett and Barbara Lee Garrett and grew up in Portland, OR. He graduated from Oregon State University in Electrical Engineering and continued working at Pacific Power after interning there during his college years.

In 1999 Steve partnered with longtime friend Shelton Louie and others to form GSL Solutions Incorporated and he continued to build the business until he retired in 2018.

Steve also enjoyed fireworks as a hobby where he worked with others to plan and create segments for various fireworks displays.
A burial service will be held for Steve at River View Cemetery Monday, June 28. We will gather at the chapel at 11 a.m.
