Thomas William
Keough
Dec 19, 1987 — Jul 18, 2024
Vancouver
Thomas (Tom/Tommy) William Keough Jr, 36, from Vancouver, WA tragically passed away early morning of Thursday, July 18th, 2024. Born December 18th, 1987, in Beaverton, OR to Tom Sr and Sherry Keough with one older sister, Kristin.
Tom graduated from Wilson High School in Portland, OR and received a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Oregon State University. He enjoyed a successful career as a Data Analyst at ZoomInfo located in Vancouver, where he had been employed since 2015.
Tom was challenged with epilepsy, which kept him from driving almost 6 years of his adulthood, but once controlled with medications, he joyfully was able to drive again the past couple of years. Being able to drive again he purchased his prized possession, a newer Dodge Challenger. He was blessed to be able to travel and see much of the United States with his family and was fortunate to travel internationally to Canada and Germany as well. He aspired to travel more. Tom enjoyed many activities such as playing golf with his dad, uncles, cousin Taylor and in tournaments at Tri-mountain men's club. His love of music included playing guitar, singing karaoke and attending concert events. Other hobbies included; watching Blazer games, attending Renaissance fairs, and was super competitive at card games, especially pinochle. Many a long night playing cards with family members. On his last night, he had just taken down a major boss in Dungeon and Dragons with a group of friends, who regularly played with him every Wednesday night for the past year and a half. He loved the occasional prank; all enjoyed and will miss his great sense of humor, wit and joyful presence.
He was survived by his father, mother, sister, two nieces Sasha and Maya, Grandparents Donald and Barbara Wenlund, and many loving, extended family members. He was predeceased by his Grandparents John and Doris Keough, Uncle Jed Keough and Uncle Mark Wenlund. Tom had many longtime friends and work associates, who would consider him part of their family. Left behind was a tabby cat named Nermal, he loved reading Garfield comic books as a child.
A Catholic funeral service and internment will be held for Tom at 11:00 am on Monday, August 12th, 2024, at St. Mary's of Guadalupe Mission 1520 N. 65th Ave. Ridgefield, Washington 9864. Following the service, a Celebration of Life will be held at Summit Grove Lodge, 30810 NE Timmen Rd, Ridgefield, WA 98642. It is a short 2-mile drive north of the cemetery and all are welcome. We also thank all family and friends who helped send food and offered help to his parents and sister during this time, it has been very much appreciated.
Tommy -- Though our hearts ache at your absence, it rejoices at the memory of you. Thank you for all the laughs that were shared on the hard days, the hugs embraced when times were scary, and the love given even when it was undeserved. To mom you were forever her baby boy, to dad you were his best friend and golf partner, to your nieces you are their Uncle "T", to some you were an angel in disguise, but now you have gone to your eternal home, to Heaven, to wait for the rest of us. You are loved and will be forever missed. – Your One and Only Favorite Sister, Kristin
