WILLIAM R. BROOKS
March 15, 1932 ˜ October 7, 2021

William R. Brooks was born March 15, 1932, in Turner, OR. On Oct. 7, 2021, entered heaven at his home surrounded by family.

He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War on a Underwater Demolition Team. He was an avid scuba diver and worked for the City of Vancouver as a Supervising Electrician until his retirement.

He was married to the love of his life Georgiana for 54 years.

William is survived by his children, Joe Brooks, Bonnie Freeman and Lisa Juhl; 12 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren and sisters, Phyllis Voeller and Echo Brown.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgiana; his parents, Earnest and Frances Brooks; and brother, Robert Brooks.

A funeral Mass will be held on Oct. 14, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Proto-Cathedral of St. James the Greater, 218 W. 12th Street, Vancouver, WA 98660.

Interment will be held after Mass at: Mother Joseph Catholic Cemetery, 1401 E 29th Street,
