Wilma V. Hinton, age 95, passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 8th, 2025, at 1047am at Ray Hickey Hospice House in Vancouver, WA. She was born on April 3rd, 1930, to Christ and Rosina (Rose)(Schnaible) Morlang in Ryder North Dakota. She worked as an Attorney's clerk. She married Peter A Swenson in 1950, had two children, her son Calvin D Swenson Sr (1953), and her daughter, Judy R Langevin (1954). She married her second husband, Gerald E. Hinton (1973). They had a 10acre farm in Ridgefield, WA. Willie loved working on their farm. They had a very large garden; love raise and gathering eggs from chickens and raised cows she fed and took care of them.

She worked as an attorney assistant, salesclerk, Waitress and did auctions with Jerry. She loved visiting with family and friends.

She is preceded in death her parents, husband Pete and Jerry.

All of her sisters and brother.

She is Survived by Son Calvin, Daughter Judy and grandchildren and great grandchildren. Wilma will be buried next to her first husband Pete in Park Hill Cemetery in Vancouver.

Services will be at St John Lutheran Church on the 22nd of December at 11:00am followed by a short reception then committal at Parkhill cemetery.
